I'd imagine the 'Turkey Slap' incident could have played a role in the direction of the show.

Weirdly enough, there was an interview printed just today about it.

The Prime Minister even spoke publicly about it at the time, so it makes sense to me.

Big Brother Australia Confirmed new season 2021
Filming for the new season could begin as early as October this year
the closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday August 4 2020.
