Some more details.

The live launch will run from 9PM with host Emma Willis just days after Celebrity Big Brother concludes on Monday.
But from the launch, the series will shift to 10PM nightly, including Friday eviction nights.
What's more, there will be NO Saturday highlights episodes for the 2018 series.
Instead, Sunday night's shows have been extended by 30 minutes to compensate.

They just showed a teaser of the housemates closeup of their faces but still no clue of who they are. Emma revealed that on Monday the housemates will be revealed.

Channel 5 have announced that Big Brother UK has been axed. This will be the final ever edition of Big Brother UK - unless another channel picks up the rights, which is highly unlikely.

They just announced yesterday that the site permission at the current location can remain for a further 3 years so another channel will have to take it up.

They will try to sell it to another broadcaster so they had to have site permission. But I can't see any other broadcaster taking it on.

BB will only air 6 days a week for this final series. The Saturday highlights show has been scrapped and instead there will be an extended Sunday show (90 minutes).

Also eviction shows will be on Friday's 10pm - 11.30pm so will not be live and will air on a delay (probably a 1 hour delay).

I agree the N word is offensive.  So is having thousands of people murdered as one time and people emotions ran very high at that time.  For me the N word was too good for this people.  I called them much worse in their own language and culture so they would be sure too understand.

Now the fact that she was fifteen at the time makes this the most stupid reason to remove her.  Period.  Why didn't they research her before they selected her to come in the house?

She tweeted it only 4 years ago (she was 2 years old during 9/11) and called the terrorists "pakis", which is pretty clearly racist.

That's what i can't understand surely that should be the first thing they should do before selecting anyone.

It wouldn't take too long for someone at Endemol to read through all the prospective housemates twitter feeds. I bet there will be some software that can autosearch for key offensive words that can do it in minutes.

I guess the other question is, should someone be punished for something they said 4 years ago when they were 15 years old. Surely they could have called her to the diary room to issue an apology and state that it is no longer her view. Of course she could have told them in the diary room that she stands by her remarks and that's why she was removed.

ITV is reportedly in talks to purchase the production company behind Big Brother.
And it's led to speculation that the channel could takeover Big Brother, which was axed by Channel 5 on Friday night.
Channel 5 confirmed Friday morning that it had axed Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother after seven years. The show started on the channel in 2011 after a decade on Channel 4, but won't be back after 2018.
However, ITV have now been tipped to takeover after entering talks to buy the production company that makes the show.
The Times reports that ITV has bid £3 billion for the Endemol Shine group which also makes TV favourites such as MasterChef and Peaky Blinders.
ITV previously purchased production company Talpa Media, makers of The Voice, before moving the singing contest to their channel from BBC One.
It's highly unlikely that Big Brother would air on the main channel, but could take up a spot on digital station ITVBe.
An industry insider told The Sun newspaper this weekend: "Celebrity Big Brother is a hugely popular format and a massive brand that attracts millions of absolutely dedicated and importantly, young fans. That makes it extremely valuable when it comes to advertising.
"And there is no way another channel won't snap it up and bring it back, probably as early as next year.
"Channel Five getting rid of it is a massive gamble. It's still their most popular show, so it may be a decision they live to regret."
Meanwhile, both Sky and Channel 4 have ruled out taking over the show.
Channel 4, who launched the series in 2000, took to their viewer Twitter account to post: "Hi there, there are no intentions to air #BigBrother on Channel 4 again."
And Sky tweeted: 'Good Afternoon, there are no plans for Sky One to show Big Brother I'm afraid.'
As well as ITV, MTV are said to be interested in the show alongside streaming services such as Amazon Prime and Netflix.
Alex Apati of bookies Ladbrokes said: "It's no surprise to see Channel 5 finally pull the plug on Big Brother, but the odds suggest a whole host of platforms will be queuing up to give the show a third chance of staying on the air."
As yet, there is no official word on Big Brother's future.
Production company Endemol said in a statement that Big Brother "continues to be a global phenomenon" with series in 20 countries, including the US which recently launched its first ever Celebrity season.
They added: "Whilst disappointed not to reach an agreement with Channel 5 the decision opens up a new chapter and we are excited about future possibilities for Big Brother in the UK."

We still don't know exactly what Lewis had said apparently he was having a converstion with his two best friends Cameron and Brooke. His family has said it was nothing to do with racism or homophobia comments or anything like that so what he said is still a mystery. He apologised at the start of last night's episode and said it was a slip of the tongue and he will now has to pay the price.

Lewis himself has finally spoken up to explain all.
“I was talking to Cameron about getting him some outfits and I said the word ‘Auschwitz’ instead of outfits by mistake," Lewis said in his own words. “It was a slip of the tongue and and then I tried to mock Hitler and did an impression of him saying ‘Kill the Jews’.
“It was an impression not a statement of my beliefs at all - and has come out completely wrong and I’m devastated. I am not anti-Semitic, I am agnostic. I love all people."
He added in a statement to The Sun newspaper: “It was a misguided comment that came out wrong.”
Lewis went on to say he understood how his "stupid impression" could "be seen as offensive" and commented: “I apologise wholeheartedly and want to move on with my life. I’m trying my best to be a good man.
“I went in to Big Brother to be myself and part of that is I’m not perfect - I’m far from it and I made a mistake and that’s all it was and all I can do now is apologise.”
After sharing a link to the story online, Lewis took to Instagram to confirm the details. He added: "Since I've come out, all I've wanted to do is to say what I said. Channel 5 didn't want to release it. I respect their decision. Channel 5 have my best interests at heart. When I got removed, the producers were devastated.
"They've watched me everyday so we become really close. They've been amazing, the aftercare team has been brilliant... [...] I've wanted to address the situation because us humans we make mistakes. All we can do is just identify it apologise for it and try not let it happen again."

Big Brother UK house set for demolition after final ever series

Big Brother started on UK TV in 2000, originally airing on Channel 4.
It moved to Channel 5 in 2011 but the broadcaster announced in September that it had decided not to renew the show beyond 2018.
The latest season wrapped up earlier this month (November) and now its famous house is set to be taken down.
The iconic Big Brother house is due to be torn down in the coming weeks with the outdoor studio already in the process of being 'derigged'.
“The production company who make Big Brother own the house, but Elstree Studios own the land, so the house has to be taken down now the show has been cancelled,” a source told The Sun newspaper.
They added: “It’s not the end for the show and everyone is convinced it’ll find a new home on another channel, but the house has to leave the site.”
Although there's been talk of the show moving to a new channel once more, nothing has been confirmed just yet.
Bit On The Side's Rylan Clark-Neal tweeted today (Sunday, November 25): "Not BB yet but u know we’re working on it #SaveBBUK"
Speaking last week, he said: "My brain just doesn't understand that it's not coming back. To me, I can't understand that I have presented it for the last time. It's going to be majorly missed."
He told the Daily Mail newspaper: "And trust me, I am doing everything I can do in my power to get it back.
"I can't imagine Big Brother not being around. It has shaped my life. I am really in a world of denial about this. I want it back. Many people do."
The current Big Brother house in Elstree has been home to the show since 2002, with the first two series airing from a different site in Bow, London.

I think he wants to generate more sympathy by appearing to be a victim of audience's hatred.
